Cincinnati is the second “Queen City” on our list but this time, Queen City of Ohio. Cincinnati, or more lovingly referred to as “Cinci”, is another large city with a local feel. They strive in culture and food and are close enough to the Kentucky border to benefit a little from the music scene.

Plan a family vacation with some fun in the sun at King’s Island or Cinci’s own Coney Island, home of North America’s largest recirculating swimming pool. Or, feed the giraffe’s at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, voted the #1 zoo in the nation by USA Today (2017). While you’re here, try to catch (pun intended) some pro sports games with the Cincinnati Reds or the Cincinnati Bengals!

If you’re more in the mood for some adventure, check out the Queen City Underground & Ultimate Underground Tours where you’ll “dig deeper into Cincinnati’s storied past as you stroll through Over-the-Rhine, home to America’s largest collection of 19th-century historic buildings. Hear the stories from what were home to over 130 saloons, bars, beer gardens, and theaters that hosted iconic entertainers like Buffalo Bill Cody.

Grab dinner at one of the many fine-dining options in Cincinnati. The city offers any cuisine you are tempted for and an eatery around every corner! Finally, you HAVE to finish off the night by hitting Graeter’s Ice Crème, a local favorite and as soon as you get a taste, you’ll know why.
