During Barrett New York North’s 16 Hour Divisional Supervisor Training, employees engaged in a team-building activity that allowed them to solve problems while earning parts of a child’s bicycle. Whether it be through problem solving or bartering with the other teams, each team had to obtain all of the bicycle parts. Working together, each team then had to build a bicycle that was later donated to a local charity called Disabled Persons Action Organization (DPAO). With the involvement of the NYN employees, the region was able to donate 8 bicycles and helmets to directly benefit local children.

“This year it’s more fun to be able to contribute in a way that’s going to go right to the kids”
– Adam Powers, Barrett New York North Area Manager
